Shinode Sushi Rice 1 kg is a medium-grain rice from the Shinode product line by Sun Clad and is produced in Italy. Once cooked, the rice has a soft, sticky consistency while still retaining its firm grain structure. It is ideal for preparing delicious sushi, rice rolls and risotto at home.

Directions for Use

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water is relatively clear. Place 1 part rice and approximately 1.5 parts water in a saucepan, bring to the boil, cover and cook over low heat for 12 minutes, then leave to rest for another 10 minutes. To prepare sushi, gently mix the cooked rice with approximately 3 tablespoons of sushi vinegar for each cup of uncooked rice, then allow it to cool to room temperature.
