Bref Power Universal Limescale Remover 500 ml provides an effective solution for removing stubborn limescale from suitable kitchen and bathroom appliances without intensive scrubbing. Its active citric acid formula cleans efficiently yet gently, restores shine to surfaces and helps maintain the reliable performance of coffee machines, kettles and hot-water appliances. Regular descaling can reduce mineral build-up, extend appliance life and help prevent unnecessary repair or replacement costs.

Ingredients

Citric acid 5% to <10%; non-ionic surfactants <5%; water.

Active citric acid helps dissolve calcium deposits and stubborn limescale without the need for aggressive scrubbing. Non-ionic surfactants support the cleaning action and help remove remaining dirt from treated surfaces.

Directions for use

• Filter and standard coffee machines: Pour 100 ml of the product and 200 ml of water into the water tank. Switch on the machine and allow approximately 50 ml of the solution to run through. Switch it off and leave for 15–30 minutes. Run the remaining solution through, then rinse the machine at least twice with clean water.
• Fully automatic, capsule and pod coffee machines: Fill the water tank and add 50 ml of the product per 1 litre of water. Start the descaling programme according to the appliance manufacturer’s instructions.
• Kettles and hot-water appliances: Half-fill the appliance with water and bring it to the boil. Switch it off and add 100–150 ml of the product once the water has stopped bubbling. Leave for 30–60 minutes, empty the appliance and rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat if necessary.
• Taps, metal fittings and surfaces: Apply the product with a damp cloth, leave it to work briefly and rinse thoroughly with water. Wipe the surface dry after rinsing for enhanced shine.

Warnings

• Do not use on enamel, aluminium, marble or acid-sensitive tiles.
• Test first on an inconspicuous area.
• Avoid prolonged skin contact and contact with the eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly under running water and seek medical advice if necessary.
• Do not mix with other cleaning products.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Always follow the descaling instructions provided by the appliance manufacturer.
